Two-way Broadband Satellite Access for Interactive Multimedia Services*

چکیده
In this paper, we investigate the feasibility of providing two-way broadband access for residential interactive multimedia services over multi-beam satellite systems. We propose air-interface protocols and terminal structures for broadband access with special emphasis on the MAC (Medium Access Control) sub-layer. We have used SDLbased formal techniques to describe and validate the behavior of the proposed protocols.
